[CASIO 2022] AQ-800 with Ana-Digi Display for the Vintage Range

This time using the Casio AQ-450 (although better known were the AQ-330 or AQ-340) from the eighties as a starting point, the Casio Vintage line brings us another model inspired by its iconic watches from the past. Let us remember that this line has been designed to make “tributes” or “reissues” of the most recognized and identifying Casio classics, such as the A100 inspired by the F-100 of recent times or, before them, the A700 inspired by the B650. It is the first time that Vintage brings us an ana-digi model from that time, with a retro design, a specific digital display in an area dedicated exclusively to it (very common in the ana-digi of those years), and an analog front with a checkered background, also inspired by the designs of yesteryear.
Initially it will appear with three variants, all of them with a deployant clasp bracelet (also very typical of this line) and with a chrome-plated resin case. They will be the AQ-800E-7A with a white background; the AQ-800E-1A with a black background, and the AQ-800G-9A in gold. Proof of the success of these vintage or retro lines in the West is that two of them are intended solely for the European market, and therefore will only be sold in Europe, which are the Casio AQ-800E-1A and the AQ-800G-9A.

I bought white faced variant on Casio UK webpage. It says is made out of stainless steel. Then I read here is a chrome plating over resin. Nightmare I’ve wasted my money.
