The “GA-2100” features a liquid crystal window designed by inheriting the octagon bezel of the first model “DW-5000C” of G-SHOCK. The long-awaited metal-covered model “GM-2100” is now available in the popular new standard G-SHOCK, which has a slim case with a thickness of 11.8 mm that uses fine resin containing carbon fiber.
The lineup is available in 4 colors. The silver “GM-2100-1AJF” is 26,400 yen. Below, the navy “GM-2100N-2AJF”, silver / red “GM-2100B-4AJF”, and silver / dark green “GM-2100B-3AJF” are 28,600 yen each. The three high-priced models have IP treatment on the case. Both will be released on August 21st.
Stainless steel material is used for the case exterior and dial. The bezel has a circular hairline finish, and the dial has a hairline treatment and vapor deposition. On the other hand, the side surface is treated as a mirror surface to give a three-dimensional effect and a sense of quality.
The middle-sized case model “GMA-S2100” was created with the desire to use G-SHOCK’s new standard GA-2100 in many scenes. It is a popular model as a genderless model that can be used by both men and women, or as a casual watch that fits neatly on the sleeves of jackets and everyday wear.
While inheriting that concept, the “GM-S2100” was born as a metal-covered model. The case size is 45.9 (vertical) x 40.4 (horizontal) x 11.0 mm (thickness). While making the shape of GMA-S2100 smaller, stainless steel material is used for the bezel cover. Like the above GM-2100, the exterior is made of metal to greatly improve the texture.
