Casio Baby-G BSA-B100 Series

Baby-G sports model with step counting and Bluetooth sync. A three-axis pedometer sensor is installed in the watch, which counts the steps taken with good accuracy, while sifting out false swings of your hands when you are not moving. Thanks to the synchronization via Bluetooth, right on the smartphone’s screen, you can track the daily progress of steps as a percentage of the target [after setting the daily goal] in the form of convenient and understandable graphs, the number of calories spent during a workout, and adjust the basic clock settings. For the stopwatch, you can set the target time [up to 10 separate values], while the clock will calculate the difference between the actual and target time. Up to 200 entries are stored in memory – enough for any, even the longest runs. A timer with separate intensity zones is another BSA-B100 feature. Fans of interval training will appreciate individual zones with different time intervals [manually set] with auto-repeat of the entire cycle or only specific zones. Other functions include world time, alarm clock, calendar, and backlight.

Now about the design. Yes, the running component is clearly in the first place here, but you can still feel some elements of the classics that have nothing to do with sports. Firstly, the color scheme – all current representatives of the BSA-B100 series are made in calm matte colors. There are no bright green straps or transparent buttons. Secondly, the golden hour markers and hands – gold does not fit the sport. Another thing comes to mind – wearing a watch in various life situations [including even business style]. No, well, the truth is, impact-resistant Baby-Gs are increasingly looking like more elegant, but less durable Sheen, while remaining inaccessible to most mechanical influences. Read Full Review →
