GMW-B5000TCF-2 — TITANIUM

About the Watch Design. Introducing the GMW-B5000TCF-2ER. This is an addition to the full-metal GMW-B5000 collection, which incorporate titanium material into their square-face design, inheriting plenty of the DNA from the original G-SHOCK DW5000C. The case, band, bezel, and back cover of this new model is made of lightweight, easy-on-the-wrist titanium. Titanium is notorious as being a material that is difficult to work with, and its application in this model represents a significant achievement. The surface of the metal is finished with a diamond like carbon (DLC) coating that protects it against scratching and other damage. The GMWB5000TCF model is laser engraved with a distinctive camouflage pattern. After a DLC coating is applied to the case and band, the gradations of the camouflage pattern are created by using dot patterns of three different sizes: small, medium, and large. This new full-metal GMWB5000 Series watch maintains the original G-SHOCK concept while improving overall timekeeping quality.

GMW-B5000CS-1 — FULL METAL

About the Watch Design. This laser-engraved model is a new variation on the full-metal square-face GMW-B5000 that inherits plenty of the DNA of the original G-SHOCK DW-5000C.
The surface of the stainless steel case and band of the base model GMW-B5000D is given a black IP finish, which is then laser etched to create an innovative Grid Tunnel pattern. The Grid Tunnel finish of this model adds a new modern touch to the timeless, classical design of the 5000 Series G-SHOCK. As with all GMW-B5000 models, features include Tough Solar Power, Multi-Band 6 Radio Control, Bluetooth Smartphone Link and STN LCD Display.

GMW-B5000TR-9

About the Watch Design. This special model uses titanium material developed for G-SHOCK for the full metal GMW-B5000, finished in an array of colors. The titanium material is called “Tran Tixxii,” which was jointly developed by CASIO and Nippon Steel Corporation for G-SHOCK over a period about six years. This titanium alloy has all the characteristics of titanium, including being is light and gentle on the skin, with about twice the hardness of pure titanium. Improved hardness makes it possible to create a mirror finish comparable to that of stainless steel, making this the first titanium G-SHOCK with an all-mirror finish. The case of the watch has a gold ion-plated (IP) finish, and the band and buttons also have an IP finish in red, blue, light gray, dark gray, and gold, colors that are also used for accents on the face.
Tran Tixxii
A titanium alloy material jointly developed by Nippon Steel Corporation, Japan’s largest steelmaker in collaboration with CASIO. This special material was created using advanced steelmaking technology, and was planned and commercialized for G-SHOCK. It took about six years to develop Tran Tixxii, and the result is hardness that is about twice that of pure titanium, along with a mirror surface that is comparable to that of stainless steel.
