[G-SHOCK Oak] GMA-S2100 — New Metallic and Translucent Variants

The S Series arrive with some impressive variants that have surprising finishes, mixing metallics with bezels and translucent straps. These are the new SK Metallic Skeleton Series made up of the Casio GMA-S2100SK-1A , in black/grey; the Casio GMA-S2100SK-2A , in blue/turquoise; the Casio GMA-S2100SK-4A in pink, and finally the Casio GMA-S2100SK-7A in white. All of them offer a structure with a Carbon Core Guard box, and will be on sale from August.

The colors are all pale tones, reinforced with a front with a metallic finish by PVD coating on the dial indexes and, in addition, almost all of them with a positive LCD part (except the black variant). But while this is extremely interesting, the most striking thing comes from the technical point of view, and that is that Casio has managed, for the first time, to make a box reinforced with carbon fiber incorporating color , in this case the box is no longer black, instead, it has shades tinted gray (in combination with the buckle, also greyish), to reinforce the metallic appearance of the watch. This type of finish is released exclusively by Casio for these new releases of the S Series since, until now, all Carbon Core Guards were black.
