The Ultimate Guide to All G-SHOCKs — composed by Experts

CASIO has recently announced the upcoming release of the GR-B300, the newest addition to their GRAVITYMASTER collection. This model aims to address the shortcomings of the previous GR-B200 series, which reportedly had weak battery life and lower sales figures. In response, CASIO has made improvements to the new model to cater to pilots and aviation enthusiasts.

One notable change is the fully analog dial, which is a departure from the previous generation’s ana-digi display. This change enhances the watch’s functionality and adds to its appeal. While there are other models like the GPW-2000 or GWR-B1000 with similar features, they belong to a higher price segment. The GR-B300 offers a more accessible option for those interested in aviator-style watches.

The watch’s design incorporates the Carbon Core Guard, a carbon fiber core that provides protection against shocks and vibrations. The bezel has an aggressive look, inspired by modern jet fighters. Compared to the GR-B200 series, the case of the GR-B300 has been slimmed down, making it more compact and comfortable to wear.

Although some sensors had to be removed, the GR-B300 compensates by incorporating solar power and Bluetooth synchronization. The watch can be paired with the Flight Log app, which allows users to record their location, time, route, and other parameters using their smartphone’s GPS.

Additional features of the GR-B300 include a 24-hour stopwatch, alarm, timer, calendar, LED backlight, and 200-meter water resistance. CASIO plans to release the GR-B300 as early as May this year, with an expected price tag of around $350.

With its improved features and functionality, the GR-B300 aims to cater to pilots and aviation enthusiasts who seek a reliable and stylish timepiece.
