About the Watch in short. From GRAVITYMASTER, the tough watch designed for the severe environments faced by pilots comes a new timepiece that delivers an even higher level of toughness through the use of the same carbon and titanium materials found on modern aircraft.
A new shock resistant Carbon Core Guard structure integrates the case and back cover into a single carbon Monocoque unit that protects the module from external shock and makes it possible to eliminate carbon guard parts from the buttons on the sides of the case.
The use of carbon material for the bezel and band, and titanium alloy for buttons, button pipes, and components results in a watch that is both structurally tough, lightweight, and resistant to rust.
Automatic time adjustment is performed using either Bluetooth® or a time signal, which helps to ensure accurate timekeeping while flying on a mission.

Enjoy Japanese Unique Features in GWR-B1000!

Carbon monocoque case. This new shock resistant structure protects modules with a carbon fiber reinforced resin case.

Bezel with 52 layers
of carbon sheeting.
The bezel is made of carbon materials as well, making it highly durable and resistant to damage. The layered carbon bezel is designed to keep flexibility and to absorb shock. It is achieved by making a clearance between the case and the bezel.

Carbon fiber insert band. * Constructed with Toray’s TORAYCA® carbon fiber.

Carbon Core Guard structure. This new shock resistant structure protects modules with a carbon fiber reinforced resin case.

Shock resistant button. A cleaner design that removes the button guard was achieved through improved case strength and the newly developed structure.

Rust-resistant. Titanium materials are used for the metal parts that are exposed to outside air, making them lightweight, strong, and resistant to rust.

TRIPLE G RESIST. Shock, centrifugal force, and vibration-resistant structure.

Large front button. A large button placed at the 6 o’clock position on the case activates the light and accentuates the rugged design.

Super Illuminator (high-brightness LED). The LED illuminates the dial to ensure visibility in the dark.

In-dial solar panel. Further improvements in the shadow dispersing solar panel by optimizing solar cell shapes to improve power generation efficiency and make it possible to generate sufficient power using only the light received through the dial areas of the face. This eliminates the need to limit the transmittance of the face, which greatly enhances face design possibilities.

Stopwatch with with flyback function. The button at 2 o’clock can be used to start a stopwatch operation while in the stopwatch mode. During a stopwatch operation, a single press of the button at 4 o’clock instantly stops the current operation, resets the stopwatch, and starts a new lap time. This flyback feature avoids time lost to button operations.

Sapphire crystal with non-reflective coating. To ensure high readability, non-reflective coating is applied on the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.

G-SHOCK CONNECTED App. Connection with a phone requires installation of the G-SHOCK CONNECTED App on the phone.

Smart Access. This ground-breaking CASIO system for analogue movements achieves multi-functionality and easy operability simultaneously through a combination of multiple motors and an electronic crown.

Enjoy our G-Shock GWR-B1000 Watch Review

The style of the GWR-B1000-1 immediately hints at its connection with the classic “mechanics”: here you have a total analog display with additional [also analog] windows, ideal and traditional roundness of the dial, convex side buttons that are a continuation of the style, not just functional complement. Unlike mechanics [even with automatic winding], the GWR-B1000 work on their own. Read Full Review →
