Lightweight and compact. The smaller case does not impede wrist movement and won’t get caught on your shirt cuff. The compact size also sits comfortably on slimmer wrists, too. The use of bio-based resins for the case-back also keeps the weight down, so you can wear this watch in comfort during long days spent enjoying the great outdoors.
Expected to reduce environmental impact bio-based resins. The resin components of the case, case back, and band are made with bio-based resins produced using renewable organic resources such as castor oil plants and corn, helping to reduce the ecological footprint of these watches. Eco-consciousness rendered in physical form, a fitting material for a real outdoor tool.
Large dedicated function buttons for one-push measurements. Get measurements of compass bearing, barometric pressure/temperature, and altitude with a single push of one of the three large dedicated function buttons. The non-slip knurled finish makes for more intuitive and accurate button operation, even when wearing gloves.
Soft urethane band for a comfortable fit. The band is made with soft urethane for both strength and flexibility. Slits help shed perspiration for more comfortable wear, and a simple lever makes it easy to attach and remove — handy for cleaning and other maintenance. The PRW-35Y-3 features a rich blue-green band that recalls the forest.
STN LCD for excellent readability. The display is a highly readable super-twisted nematic (STN) LCD, boasting a large, bold digital readout that makes checking the time and other measurements intuitive.
