#1 G-Shock GA-2100

#2 G-Shock GA-140

GA-140 – these are G-Shock-s in the classical sense. A round case and a dial, symmetrical overflows over the glass to protect it, and a strap and bends [to absorb shock load] – this form factor is very recognizable in G-Shokc fans scircles. Fundamental changes affected only the design of the dial, which has now become more modern and fashionable. #3 G-Shock GBA-800

The first ever running G-Shock-s with a pedometer and synchronization with a smartphone. Bright stylistic options for the model were specially designed to be combined with sportswear and shoes. Wide openings for a fastener provide the improved ventilation of a wrist during run. The main features of the series are a three-axis pedometer sensor, which accurately calculates the number of steps taken without taking into account random hand movements. Thanks to synchronization via Bluetooth, you can monitor your daily activity in the G-Shock Connect application – data on the steps taken are displayed in a convenient graph. Using the special MET parameter, the watch can roughly calculate how many calories you burned during training, and if you activate GPS on your smartphone, a map of your route will be available in the application. The GBA-800 also boasts five advanced timers with 20 presets and a stopwatch with 200 lap memory and 10 target time options. Now all the basic capabilities of a digital watch are presented in a more favorable light for interval training. At night, the dial is illuminated by a powerful double backlight – separately for the analog zone, and separately for digital.

#4 G-Shock GST-B200

A fresh representative of the G-Steel line is the steel G-Shock with the new protective structure of the Carbon Core Guard. The inner part of the case, which is responsible for protecting the module from negative influences, is made of polyurethane reinforced with carbon fiber, making the case stronger and lighter. The dimensions are reduced compared to the GST-W300 – 53.3 x 49.2 x 14.5 mm versus 55.9 x 49.3 x 15.3 mm. All external parts of the GST-B100 [bezel, buttons, screws, back cover] are made of stainless steel. The digital display is made using STN technology, which gives a larger viewing angle and enhanced image clarity. Designers redesigned the look of the buttons – now they look more stylish and modern. Solar power and Bluetooth synchronization are responsible for the basic functionality of the model, and its basic capabilities are complemented by a stopwatch, timer, alarm clock and world clock.

#5 G-Shock GA-2000

Representative of the low-cost G-Shock segment with the latest Carbon Core Guard housing protection technology. The inside of the case is made of polymer with carbon fiber reinforcement – thus the watch has become stronger and lighter. The double back cover is represented by a classic steel plate and a fiberglass reinforced polymer lining. Fiberglass takes part of the shock load, thereby protecting the rest of the watch from damage. The model’s strap is removable, and the Casio make it possible to buy original spare straps without resorting to the services of third-party manufacturers. GA-2000 features are only basic – world time, stopwatch, timer, alarm clock, calendar, bright backlight and 200-meter water resistance.

The latest representative of the dirt-resistant direction of the G-Shock Mudmaster. The special design of the case and buttons does not allow dust, dirt and other small particles to get inside the watch, and the protective concept of Carbon Core Guard takes the shock resistance of the case to a whole new level, thanks to the presence of carbon parts, which also make the watch easier. Bezel is a “sandwich” of three layers – polyurethane, carbon, polyurethane. Buttons no longer need external protection, so they look more aesthetically pleasing and modern. The back cover consists of two parts – fiberglass and steel for greater reliability during mechanical stress. The popular metal G-Shock with a reduced body compared to the previous generation of G-Steel – now the dimensions are 55.9 x 49.3 x 15.3 mm versus 59.10 x 52.40 x 16.10 mm at the GST- W100. The abundance of steel and the compact dial are the hallmark of the GST-W300. The bezel is polyurethane, but from this the watch did not lose in impact resistance at all – the combination of different materials rather, on the contrary, positively affects the protective properties of the case. The format of the dial of ana-DJ is arrows and electronic windows. Thanks to convenient indication by means of three digital windows on the display at the same time maximum information is located. The cylindrical shape of the buttons and the metal of which they are made protect the buttons from shock, and the toothed texture makes pressing more convenient when using the watch with gloves. The image and appearance of the GWG-100 is borrowed from vehicles and special-purpose tools that are used by rescue teams in the disaster area. 4 separate digital windows contribute to a more detailed display of data on the dial. For ease of use of all functions, it is possible to move the Hand Shift arrows so that they do not block the electronic panel. The GA-800 is sharpened under a stopwatch – it starts with one press of the Start button on the right side of the case and up to 120 laps can be stored in memory. Inexpensive youth G-Shock-s whick inherited the design of several colleagues at once – the watch has a bit of a GA-200, a series of GST-W and older AWGs. In this model, the Japanese honed all the small details of the appearance, as a result of which there appeared a balanced watch with good functionality and an affordable price. The main advantage of the GAW-100 over its counterparts is solar power [now there is no need to be afraid of battery drain] and radio time synchronization [automatic time correction].
