Official ECB-10 Series Description. EDIFICE, the high-performance metal watch created under the concept of “Speed and Intelligence,” announces the new ECB-10 lineup of timepieces that link with your smartphone for highly accurate timekeeping, personal schedule management, and automatic adjustment of their time zone setting in accordance with your current location.
ECB-10 Series timepieces were developed in consultation with racing team members. They use Bluetooth® to link with a smartphone for minute-by-minute coordination of daily schedules among team members, and Auto Time Zone updating that ensures timekeeping is current and accurate no matter where in the world you happen to be.
A new Schedule Timer feature links with a phone’s calendar app*1 and shows appointment start times and end times on the watch display. You can even configure settings to have an alarm sound to alert you to start times and end times.
The basic face design of this model incorporates an eight-sided bezel and four screws, which give it an image of a professional racing car maintenance tool and an impressive mechanical feel. The face has horizontal lines that create the impression of a racing car streaking around a track at high speeds.

Speed & Intelligence. Technologies continue to advance, with EDIFICE leading the way. This multi-function chronograph from CASIO is actively forwarding the evolution of electronic technologies. EDIFICE combines a fusion of dynamic forms with elaborate face designs, and provides leading-edge, accompanied by uniquely original expressions produced by the movements of various hands. These features are transporting the chronograph into new realms, and unlocking the hidden possibilities they contain. EDIFICE Design. Bold, fascinating forms and fine details, combined with simple styling that brings out the essence of metal, give birth to products with clearly designed identities.
Drawing and modeling. A prototype is produced based on a sketch using CAD and a 3D printer. A bold design concept takes shape.
Forged stainless-steel case. After forging and heat treatment of the stainless-steel material, precision machining is conducted to complete the boldly designed case form.
Polished finishing. Polish finishing by the hands of skilled craftsmen produces beautiful mirror surfaces on the forge-cast stainless-steel case.
Smartphone Link. Linking the watch to a smartphone provides access to the correct time, not only in the current location but over 300 cities around the world. Alarm setting and control over various other functions from the smartphone enhance operability to an unprecedented high level.
LED Light (Super Illuminator). A high-brightness LED illuminates the dial with bright light to improve visibility remarkably at night and in dimly lit environments.
Dual Dial World Time. A dial on the face of the watch always shows the current time in another zone whenever you need it. A sub-dial also indicates a.m. or p.m. at a glance. You can use the smartphone app to select from among 300 cities.

General Guide
- Displayed while the watch is indicating summer time
- Flashes while the watch’s hands are shifted for easier reading
- Displayed while Auto Light is enabled
- Displayed while the Airplane Mode is enabled
- Displayed during p.m. times while 12-hour timekeeping is being used
- Displayed while there is connection between the watch and a phone.

- Mode hand movement depends on the current watch mode.
Shifting the Hands
- While holding down (A), press (C).
– This will shift the analog hands to allow easy viewing of display information. - To return the hands to their normal timekeeping positions, hold down (A) as you press (C) again, or press (C) to change to another mode.
Phone Finder
- If the watch is in any mode besides the Timekeeping Mode, hold down (C) for at least two seconds to enter the Timekeeping Mode.
- Hold down (D) for at least five seconds. The phone will sound a tone when it establishes a connection with the watch.
- Press any button to stop the tone.
– You can press any watch button to stop the phone tone only during the first 30 seconds after it starts to sound.
World Time
- Enter the World Time Mode.
After the currently selected World Time City name appears, the watch will display the current time in that city.
– To display the World Time City name while in the World Time Mode, press (B).
Timer
- Enter the Timer Mode
- Use the operations below to perform a timer operation.
– A beeper will sound for 10 seconds to let you know when the end of a countdown is reached.
– To reset a paused countdown to the start time, press (B). - Press any button to stop the tone.

The crown was turned into a button to correct the time and solve problems with manual settings.
