Official ECB-900 Series Description. Introducing the latest additions to the ECB-900 Series of EDIFICE metal chronograph models with advanced features and functions that allow linking with your smartphone. These new models feature digital displays at 12 o’clock and 9 o’clock, which team up with the analog indications to show information in an easy-to-understand format. Establishing a Bluetooth connection between these watches and a smartphone ensures accurate timekeeping, including summer time switching, in virtually any country in the world. A phone can also be used to configure a variety of watch settings.
A motorsports inspired 1/1000-second stopwatch comes with memory for 200 lap time records, and recording a lap time causes the lower right dial to indicate the average speed. A smartphone app lets you select from more than 300 cities for your World Time City, and simplifies alarm and countdown timer settings.
These watches also come with Super Illuminator, which uses high-brightness LED illumination that automatically illuminates both the analog face and the digital displays are automatically illuminated whenever you angle the watch towards your face where lighting is dim. EDIFICE Design. Bold, fascinating forms and fine details, combined with simple styling that brings out the essence of metal, give birth to products with clearly designed identities.
Drawing and modeling. A prototype is produced based on a sketch using CAD and a 3D printer. A bold design concept takes shape.
Forged stainless-steel case. After forging and heat treatment of the stainless-steel material, precision machining is conducted to complete the boldly designed case form.
Polished finishing. Polish finishing by the hands of skilled craftsmen produces beautiful mirror surfaces on the forge-cast stainless-steel case.

General Guide
- Displayed during p.m. times while 12-hour timekeeping is being used
- Displayed while the watch’s hands are shifted for easier reading
- Displayed while Auto Light is enabled
- Moves in sync with the seconds count in the Stopwatch Mode.

Shifting the Hands
- While holding down (B), press (D).
– This will shift the analog hands to allow easy viewing of display information. - To return the hands to their normal timekeeping positions, hold down (B) as you press (D) again, or press (D) to change to another mode.
Phone Finder
- If the watch is connected with a phone, press any button to terminate the connection.
- If the watch is in any mode besides the Timekeeping Mode, hold down (D) for at least two seconds to enter the Timekeeping Mode.
- Hold down (E) for at least 1.5 seconds until the second hand moves to [R]. The phone will sound a tone when it establishes a connection with the watch.
- Press any button to stop the tone.
– You can press any watch button to stop the phone tone only during the first 30 seconds after it starts to sound.
World Time
- Entering the World Time Mode will initially display the name of the currently selected World Time City, followed by the current time in that city..
– To display the World Time City name while in the World Time Mode, press (A).
Timer
- Use the operations below to perform a timer operation.
– A beeper will sound for 10 seconds to let you know when the end of a countdown is reached.
– To reset a paused countdown to the start time, press (A). - Press any button to stop the tone.

Functions Then, as usual, I decided to look into all the functionality of the ECB-900DB-1BER, and without the hints of the old-school instruction and the newfangled Edifice Connected application.
