About the Watch in short. G-Shock youth series with a focus on modern fashion and urban casual style. The main emphasis was made by designers on massive hands and a 3D dial effect. The case is noticeably larger than its counterparts from the GA line – such a watch will surely catch the eye of others. The round backlight button is placed on the front of the case – just like the more expensive jishoks. For convenient reading of information from electronic windows, the function of moving arrows to neutral positions is provided where they will not close the digital zone. Hollow case structure. Based on a realization that “shocks are not transmitted inside a bouncing rubber ball,” the structure was designed to let the module float inside the case, relieving shocks transmitted from outside. Today, the module’s shock resistance is realized through further technical innovations. But the revolutionary tough structure that gave G-SHOCK its origin began here.
All-directional covering. If the watch is dropped, the protruding bezel fully enclosing it absorbs the shock, protecting the buttons directly connected to the module and alleviating shocks from all directions. The bezel also guards the surface of the crystal. The band is curved stiffly at the point of connection with the case, moreover, enabling it to serve as a shock absorber and prevent direct shocks to the back of the case.
Protective cushioning of key parts. The crystal oscillator and other critical parts inside the module are guarded individually by cushioning material. Any strong shock to the watch causes immediate distortion of the cushioning inside the module, preventing contact failure and malfunction.

Selecting a Mode
- In the Timekeeping Mode, press (D) to enter the Stopwatch Mode.
Timekeeping
Use the Timekeeping Mode to set and view the current time and date.
Using the Stopwatch
The stopwatch measures elapsed time, split times, and two finishes.
– The measurement range of the stopwatch is 23 hours, 59 minutes, 59.99 seconds.
Elapsed time returns to zero automatically and timing continues from there when the maximum limit is reached.
Countdown Timer
The countdown timer can be set within a range of one minute to 60 minutes. An alarm sounds when the countdown reaches zero.
