Inexpensive travel ProTrek for budget travel. Despite its relatively low cost, the series has a wide range of possibilities for backpackers – an updated third-generation triple sensor with a barometer, thermometer and compass, information on sunrise / sunset times and LED display backlighting. The large electronic dial is divided into separate zones and is readable in any conditions, and the protruding buttons on the case are easy to press even with gloves on. Additional marks on the bezel make it easier to understand your current location relative to magnetic north. A solar battery is installed in the watch – the watch does not need to be worn periodically in the service and the battery is changed. Stopwatch, timer, alarm clock, world clock and calendar – the basic functionality has not gone anywhere.

— 100-meter water resistance (good for swimming but not for deep diving)
— Tough Solar (CASIO’s original solar-charging system converts not only sunlight but also light from fluorescent lamps and other sources into power)
— Low temperature resistant (stable operation of the watch is guaranteed even at a temperature of -20°C)
— Digital compass (measures and displays direction as one of 16 points)
— Thermometer (can measure and display the outside temperature in a range from -10 C to 60 C)
— Barometer (measures the air pressures and displays tendencies in the weather)
— Altimeter (The electronic mechanism “estimates” the altitude based on the air pressure)
— Sunrise/sunset display (After entering the geographical location, sunrise and sunset times can be displayed for any given date)

Official Marketing Focus from Casio
Introducing Triple Sensor Version 3, advanced CASIO original technology that makes it possible to pack sensors that are 95% smaller than those of previous models into a totally new type of compact PRO TREK. Despite their smaller size, the new sensors in these models deliver higher reading accuracy and improved energy efficiency.
These Triple Sensor models deliver altitude, barometric pressure, and direction readings that are more accurate than previous models, and a Barometric Pressure Tendency Alarm alerts the wearer to sudden changes in pressure readings.
Design features include a case designed for outdoor gear performance. Large side buttons and one-press access to digital compass, barometric pressure and altitude, and temperature readings keep important information at your fingertips.
Other features include Tough Solar, 100-meter water resistance, and more. Everything about these models is designed and engineered to make them essential pieces of outdoor gear.
